God's Gang Wrap-up 2012-2013

What a Blessing God’s Gang Program, Teachers and Volunteers are to our church!  This year we had an average of about 65 students attend the Wednesday afternoon church program that Sterry hosts for our young children.  This program runs from 3:15 until 6:30 pm every Wednesday night throughout most of the school year.  The time ends in the evening with volunteers providing a dinner for our young children and volunteers.  What an amazing outreach program for our young people and un-churched children.  This program requires a tremendous amount of volunteers who give of their time weekly.  I would like to send a HUGE Thank you to everyone who makes this program a success for our children each week.  You should be proud to serve the Lord in such a capacity!  Truly without you, this program wouldn’t be possible. 

It isn’t too late to start thinking about next year!  We are always in need of volunteers to teach, read stories, and serve on meal teams.  I already know of one position that will need to be filled next year.  Mrs. Barnard has given years of service teaching our children crafts each week, and has decided it’s time to “retire” from God’s Gang.  So if you feel the Lord pulling at you to serve, you love children, and you want to hang out with an amazing group of volunteers, you are exactly what we are looking for.  Also, this program is always in need of prayer, even during the summer months.  If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer, please feel free to contact Monique Jensen.
